Have you ever been to a wedding on a stage? For the Rozsa Center – this was a first, so we all worked hard to make sure it would be spectacular. And Sarah at Mandala Events from Marquette helped do just that.
When we met with Arica for some pre-planning, we quickly determined we’d make this event look like a Prince concert. Her vibe was a combination of saturated, floral, and vintage. The ceremony and reception were at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts, flower arrangements and amazing disco ball by Protea, and hair and makeup by Citrus Salon.
After the ceremony we loaded up the bridal party and family into a bus for a little photo road trip. We started in downtown Hancock where two iconic bar signs gave us a backdrop with beautifully vintage vibes. After a quick stop to restock, we headed up to Calumet where we showed them the historic Shute’s 1890 Saloon and the beautifully eclectic Vertin Gallery – where they gave us full access to their 3-story sandstone building and all the vintage fur we could find.
A special thanks to the theater staff for letting us take over their operation – everything from dressing rooms to the lighting board – they were as professional as accommodating. And Hancock – you never looked more classic. Enjoy.
