Have you ever been to Eben Ice Caves in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula? Surprisingly, we hadn’t. We decided to fix that and the opportunity finally came when a long awaited winter storm arrived. Of course, knowing us, we couldn’t make such a trip without turning it into a whole event. We sent out an invite to our followers – anyone in the region who wanted to come play in the snow could meet us at the ice caves for a photoshoot. The only requirements – warm outerwear, an adventurous spirit, and a willingness to get a little cold. We had quite the turn out – a dozen lovely people were able to make the trip and endured the winter weather to hike out to the caves. With a little whiskey, a flower crown by Samara Floral Co., and a lot of furs we got into a groove alternating looks and creating scenes in the ice and snow. We love to see our models supporting each other, hyping each other up, and getting creative together and this crew really reminded us of what a wonderful community we have here at Brockit. We only scared off a few tourists, only one person locked their keys in their running car (we won’t mention who), and the closest anyone got to frostbite was Adam’s fingers holding his camera. We will call that a pretty successful first visit. Thank you to the wonderful people who maintain the Eben Ice Caves access and to everyone who was able to join us for this project.
